Count Zero Records would like to invite you to our annual, exclusive, invite-only event, known to its participants as “Camp Zero”.
Camp Zero isn’t exactly a camping trip. It is a two-week networking and collaboration event of the music and creative industry, that brings together artists, creators, fans, managers, staff, investors, and entrepreneurs of the creative industry in a luxury location.
Its purpose is to connect, to learn, to share and to create opportunities that would otherwise not have been possible.
We have artists looking for collaboration partners, fans looking to connect with artists, investors looking for a new deal, and industry experts looking to increase their footprint.
At Camp Zero 22 you will be able to:
- network with creators, investors, entrepreneurs, and fans
- get behind the scenes insights in workshops and small discussion panels
- arrange projects with other artists, seek funding from investors and ask fan leaders what they think of your ideas
Croatia
Croatia (Croatian: Hrvatska) is a country situated in south central Europe and Mediterranean region. It is to the east side of the Adriatic Sea, to the east of Italy.
Croatia has an impressive history, a fact that is best explained through the vast array of sites worth visiting. Most towns have a historical center with its typical architecture. There are differences between the coast and the continental part, so both areas are a must. Croatia’s capital and largest city is Zagreb, with a population of about 1 million. It is a modern city with all the modern features, yet it has a laid-back feel.
Beaches in Croatia are abundant and every village along the coast has its own little beach.
Croatia’s currency is the kuna (HRK). Although many tourist business owners may accept euros, Euros are not legal tender in Croatia. Any amount of kuna you have left at the end of your stay can be converted to euros at a local bank or exchange office.
Prices are around 20% to 50% lower than in the EU or the US.
ATM’s (in Croatian “Bankomat”) are readily available throughout Croatia. They will accept various bank cards, credit cards (Diners Club, Eurocard/MasterCard, Visa, American Express etc.) and debit cards (Cirrus, Maestro, Visa electron etc.).
The campers
The “Campers” are a diverse group of people from all over the world, connected by the creative industry. You will find bankers, entrepreneurs, managers, staffers, artists, and fans alike. We believe that in mixing all groups of the creative industry value chain together, actual projects can be talked through, rather than the usual “industry small talk”. At CZ22 you can talk about your ideas with fans, plan them with fellow artists, and ask for funding from investors all in the same place.
The Camp
The Luxury 4* Villas that we “camp” in are among the most beautiful locations Croatia has to offer, and every year we – as a registered tourism company – personally review all venues and negotiate prices with the owners that are much lower than what “foreign” end consumers are usually offered.
This is why you get to stay in a lavish environment, all while having extremely affordable rates per week. The images are of some of the venues we are working with, and are all from the Croatian seaside.
All venues are air-conditioned, have a private pool with chill-out deck, a roofed outside dining area, Croatian “Peka” style stone grill, and all modern amenities such as wireless network etc.
Food & Drink
Croatia is known for its many local delicacies, especially bakery goods and grilled meat and vegetables. We will source all these fresh every day from local crafters.
Every Morning we will all have a typical Croatian breakfast together, consisting of delicious local freshly baked goods, special ham and salami, local cheese, eggs, and the Croatian drinking yogurt.
In the evening we will BBQ local meats and veggies on the “Peka” wood-fired stove with aromatic wood and coals.
We will provide mountain water, juices, and milk during the entire day. Optionally you can upgrade to beer and local wine.
