Kei Lek

Kei Lek is a Japanese Blues player that has been an artist for over 25 years. He found his love for blues at the age of 10 when he started playing the guitar under the guidance of his father and brother. He quickly became “obsessed” with the Beatles and Chuck Berry and started playing rock and roll guitar. At 12 he found Stevie Ray Vaughan and began to study blues guitar ferociously. At 16 he formed his band “Weather King” and started to perform live. For the next 20 years, he has been performing live and recording music. He also performed at Hakata Dontaku, one of Japan’s four major festivals, and at other large-scale events, contributing to the spread of blues music in Japan.
