When i was 10 i got a Commodore 64 and I started to create sounds with it and years later when I was 16 I bought an Amiga 500 with all the money I had ever saved and started making music with Fasttracker. I grew from the beginnings of electronic music with composers like Rob Hubbard and Jean-Michele Jarre to the House and Electronic scene, the inception of techno, and the eventual graduation of it all into commercial US-based EDM.
30 Years, 3 degrees and a management career later I quit my day job as a board manager to start a record label. My colleagues there said I was crazy.
I probably am.
Now we have 5 labels worldwide, over 30 signed artists, 6000 applications every year, 20+ chart placements, and the greatest place to be for any artist: Count Zero Records. Today, my vision is becoming reality, but I will not kid you: It is not an easy path to take.
I am the world’s #1 reviewer of independent music for record label signing consideration because no single person on the planet reviews and provides feedback on more songs annually than I do.
